Give Local America celebrates communities coming together to support local philanthropy. In many of these communities, the local community foundation is leading the effort and allowing nonprofits and individuals to participate in a community-wide giving day. Thousands of nonprofits will be able to share the great work of their organization, gain new supporters and raise funds for their mission through the community foundation led giving events.

Give Local America is a movement to reignite the spirit of giving across the country and support causes in the communities in which we live, work and play. On Tuesday, May 6th 2014, join us in celebrating 100 years of local philanthropy thorough the work of community foundations.
From Coast to Coast, people just like you will be coming together to "give local" through their local community foundations, charities and national partnerships.
We encourage you to join in the excitement by supporting your favorite local organizations.
The community foundation idea was born nearly 100 years ago, in 1914. Today, more than 750 community foundations are at the center of local civic life—helping people easily and effectively support the issues they care about. Community foundations are tax-exempt, charitable organizations that provide a simple, powerful and highly personal approach to giving through personalized service, local solutions and community leadership.
Our flexible, best-of-breed, Omni-Channel Fundraising™ platform enables nonprofits, higher education institutions and community foundations to create a deeper donor relationship by leveraging the strengths of each channel and putting their donors at the center of all development activities. Ultimately this approach results in greater brand awareness, giving and lifelong loyalty. Kimbia is proud to support more than 5,000 customers to date, including the American Heart Association, Smithsonian Institution, YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, Columbia University, Georgetown University, WGBH – Boston, KCSM – San Mateo, The Ragnar Relay Series, Beijing International Triathlon, MetroPCS Dallas Marathon, Communities Foundation of Texas, Community Foundation for Greater New Haven and The Boston Foundation.
